Let's get some #MondayMotivation going, from #TeamHiTech @ashleykfit: CARDIO! 🙃 I love to do cardio in the morning. In fact, I rarely complete my cardio later than 9am. There’s a few reasons I prefer the AM cardio over noon: . . 1️⃣ It sets the tone for the rest of the day! For example, if I do cardio first thing I am more likely to make healthy choices throughout the entire day. . . 2️⃣ Get it out of the way. I usually perform cardio in the morning, first thing. After I get home, I shower and prepare to start my day. . . 3️⃣ It is refreshing! Exhilarating!! And it really “wakes me up”! Feeling groggy? Maybe some cardio will help 😁 . . So now you’re wondering ... do I do cardio fasted? And when do I lift? 🤔 . . So, most of the time I do cardio fasted, yes. This is because I haven’t had time to work up an appetite yet. But☝🏼if I wake up hungry, than your girl is eating 😁 Do I think there are benefits to fasted cardio? Meh, not really significant. But I never try to force feed myself if I’m not hungry. Ya dig? . . Weights- some days it’s a cardio only day and some days I lift as well! Here’s how I plan it: leg/glute days NO CARDIO because training these body parts zap my energy anyway. I want to train with fresh muscles. For Arm/shoulder/upper body workouts, I usually train these in afternoon after I’ve come home from cardio, showered, and eaten. On these days, I always make sure to take #HiTechPharma #JackdUp #preworkout to keep that energy flowing 💥
