Teacher @yogawithbriohny ・・・ If you're experiencing shoulder pain after your yoga practice, this might be the reason ⬆️ I've found that yoga students tend to complain about pain more frequently in externally rotated standing poses like side-angle and triangle. When one arm is reaching up, a lot of students will open the hand way beyond the shoulder instead of opening the shoulder - the original goal of the pose. So if you or your students are experiencing pain, do this: ▶️Stack your shoulders ▶️Stack your hand with your shoulder ▶️As you revolve, open from the shoulder ▶️Align the hand above it rather than cranking open Can you feel the difference?
