We listened to Dan Pashman's @thesporkful episode on New Jersey’s Pork Roll-Taylor Ham Wars. After hearing all about it we had to try it! Dan we have to say that down here in Pensacola it is clearly Taylor Ham as you can see 🙏. We couldn't even find any Case's Pork Roll. . . The traditional way New Jersey natives eat their Taylor Ham is on a breakfast sandwich with egg and cheese, so this is our attempt to properly prepare one. . . I have to say it is a damn tasty pork product and is best described, in my opinion as a cross between bologna, and Canadian bacon. What it is, is damn delicious, no matter what. We made ours almost crispy, but there are no rules. You can have it anywhere from just warmed up, to nearly burnt to a crisp. As long as you enjoy it, who cares? . . If there are any Case's Pork Roll people around here let me know where I can find it locally.
