Eating cheese is like eating durian, smells terrible but tastes divine! Le Fermier au Chablis cheese is a milder version of the better known Epoisses cheese. It is a soft cow's milk cheese with a rind washed and matured in white Chablis wine. It is made in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region. This cheese has a lovely shiny ivory yellow color, very runny and must be contained in a box. The taste is well balanced between the slightly pronounced flavor of milk and the delicate fragrance of Chablis.
