We asked Muslim members of the Gymshark family to share stories of what Ramadan means to them, their communities and their fitness journeys. Here's how @fitness.saf commits to their faith and training throughout this month... Ramadan has always been a part of my life growing up, however only in recent years have I realised the impact it has on my life in terms of disciplining myself, creating meaningful habits and strengthening my faith. Fasting in Ramadan means no food or drink (yes, even water!) which can sometimes mean changing my training for the month, resulting in shorter and less intense workouts. I know a lot of people stop training completely, however it’s vital for me to continue working out, even if it means just going for walks or doing 20-minute sessions, just to keep the muscles and joints strong. For me, finding a good routine which incorporates work, prayer, supplication and training is key in allowing consistency and overall improvement in my body, mind and heart. For me, it’s a month of striving to be the best version of myself in all aspects of life. #Gymshark
