SEMI-DIRECT TECHNIQUE The indirect approach is very frequent in our daily practice and is indicated in cases with extended coronal destruction. Nevertheless, it normally involves a lot of materials and an equipped dental laboratory is required. The semi-direct technique allow the clinician to deliver, in a single appointment, an indirect composite restoration fabricated with the same restorative materials used for direct composite restorations but with better properties.
