Sanitation workers have always been integral to the well being of our daily lives, yet historically have never received the same respect or recognition for their contributions as essential workers to society. The Foundation for NY’s Strongest was established in 2016 through the combined efforts of myself and the DSNY to further their waste goals and celebrate the workers who put their lives on the line. In response to a shortage of their supplies due to COVID-19, I linked up with @RyanKeeley, creative director of Covalent Clean, to donate 40 gallons of hand sanitizer to NYC’s front-line sanitation workers. I am still so proud to be a partner to them and thankful to my friends who have been joining us to show them our appreciation. To all of the sanitation workers, first responders & health care workers out there, I want to say thank you for being there for us. We are here for you too. @nycsanitation @strongestnyc
