Thankful for clarity. I spent the first 5 years of my marriage fighting. I was young, and the goal was never as important as me proving that my way was better than Kay’s. My pride was so important to me that I even elected to sit back and watch, expecting that she’d fail trying to do things her way.🤦🏾‍♂️ . Then reality set in... It costs me more time and more money trying to prove a point. I adopted these two words into my husband vocabulary, “F*ck It!” Arguing about how sh*t gets done is counterproductive, especially when there is one common goal. . Bottom line, my pride put before our progress will lead to our destruction. My time is better spent working in partnership and Kay learned in her own time that the real enemy doesn’t exist in our home.
