Losing strength and having to rebuild just so I could be more competitive wasn’t appealing to me. Instead, I gained weight and got stronger lol. I might not be as competitive nationally in my current weight class (60kg) but I’m FINE with it. I don’t do this for medals and records, I do it because the journey has been ENJOYABLE, to test myself, and I love seeing my lifts progress.
